Our brands

INNOVATORS.

Our brands represent much more than Tabacaleraā€™s commercial image. In many cases, they were separated companies in the past, the dream of entrepreneurs who envisioned unique products, special cigars wrapped in an enchanting image. Brand tradition transports us to unique places, to characters from novels, to celebrities, to visionaries... A brand is the right word, the right image, a guarantee of identifying what we desire in one or two words, in an image or just at a glance.

Hand Made

HABANOS

The brands of Habanos speak to us of the past, present and future of the worldā€™s most exclusive premium cigars. There are currently 27 brands covered by the Habanos Protected Designation of Origin (PDO). This designation is reserved exclusively for cigars weighing more than three grams made entirely by hand with tobaccos from specific regions in Cuba. The first commercial brands of Habanos were born 200 years ago and since then insignia products have been created with distinct personalities and blends, all of them with the common stamp of having been born in the Mecca of tobacco.

You can find all the information about these brands and their vitolarios on the Habanos website .

Cohiba

Cohiba

This is the most prestigious brand in the world of tobacco. Created in the prestigious El Laguito factory in Havana, Cuba in 1966, it has been the star brand used to gift heads of state and celebrities and has been marketed globally since 1982

The leaves used in its production comprise a selection of the five best Vegas Finas de Primera from the areas of San Juan y Martƭnez and San Luis. It is the only Habanos brand in which three of the four types of leaves used in its production are fermented in cedar barrels, providing these cigars with a unique aroma and flavour. Montecristo

Montecristo

Created in Havana in 1935, Montecristo is the worldā€™s most famous cigar brand.

Its name is inspired by The Count of Monte Cristo, the novel by Alexandre Dumas with which Tabaqueria readers entertained cigar rollers in the factory where it was produced during their long working shifts.

It had only five vitolas at the outset, numbered from 1 to 5, and has since then been incorporating new formats to satisfy all aficionados thanks to our enthusiasm for constant evolution. Lines: ClƔsica, Open and 1935

Trinidad

Trinidad

Trinidad was developed in 1969 and has been marked by its exclusivity ever since its origins because of the fact that very limited quantities have been produced.

It was initially used as a special gift for high-ranking representatives of foreign countries and was later launched throughout the world. The cigars were originally made in the Cohiba factory, but are now produced in Pinar del RĆo, the most important town in the Vuelta Abajo tobacco-growing region.

During its more than forty years, it has remained a discreet jewel in the Habanos, S.A. portfolio, only accessible to the most expert French fans and whose main novelties have come through Regional Editions, equally exclusive for the French market.

Romeo y Julieta

Romeo y Julieta

Developed in Cuba in 1875, the brand began to make a name for itself among aficionados thanks to Don ā€˜PepĆnā€™ RodrĆguez. This renowned Spanish businessman emigrated to Cuba in the early 20th century, bought the brand and recognised the importance of cigar bands as a factor for success

Winston Churchill was one of its most devoted fans, which is why he gave his name to one of its best-known vitolas: Romeo y Julieta Churchill. Its portfolio today includes a wide range of vitolas, all of which are made by hand using long filler.

PartagƔs

PartagƔs

This brand built the most iconic building in the world of Habanos, the former PartagƔs factory located in the heart of Havana, behind the Capitol. It was set up in 1845 by Don Jaime PartagƔs and has since then been vital in understanding the history of Habanos.

Its tobacco is immediately recognisable for its intense flavour and the character of its blend. Its vitolario is characterised by a wide variety of shapes and sizes, and its Serie D No. 4 cigar, created in the 1930s, is the best-selling Habanos vitola in the world.
